Clerk of Works – London & South East (Façade & Cladding)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Clerk of Works to join our multidisciplinary consultancy, supporting a growing portfolio of residential, commercial and education projects across London and the South East. The role focuses heavily on façade and cladding remediation, ensuring all works meet specifications, statutory requirements and best practice.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake regular site inspections across multiple live projects.
• Monitor quality of workmanship, materials and installation against drawings and specifications.
• Provide particular oversight for façade, cladding and external envelope remediation works.
• Report on compliance, defects and progress with clear, accurate site reports.
• Collaborate closely with project teams, contractors and clients to drive quality and compliance.

Required profile

• ICWCI accreditation or MCIOB membership.
• Proven experience as a Clerk of Works within a consultancy or client‑side environment.
• Strong technical knowledge across residential, commercial and education projects.
• Detailed understanding of building regulations, quality control and construction standards.
• Confident communicator with a professional, pragmatic approach on site.
