Client Director – Natural Resources

About the role

Aon is seeking a Client Director to shape its UK Natural Resources strategy. The role combines portfolio management, business development and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver high‑value solutions for energy and emerging clean‑energy clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client portfolio planning, account plans, revenue tracking, invoicing and compliance.
• Drive growth across Natural Resources by leading tenders, pursuing new business and supporting cross‑Aon initiatives.
• Build and maintain strategic client relationships, develop retention plans and identify organic growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Commercial Risk teams, insurers and internal partners to ensure a consistent client experience.
• Champion a growth‑mindset culture, promoting accountability, innovation and customer focus.
• Enhance Aon’s market presence through marketing, thought leadership and industry events.

Required profile

• Exceptional client relationship skills with the ability to understand complex businesses and risk issues.
• Strong commercial and market awareness of the Natural Resources and insurance sectors.
• Advanced technical insurance knowledge to design solutions and negotiate effectively.
• Proven business development experience in a senior client‑facing role.
