Client Director – Senior Leadership Role in High Wycombe

About the role

Seymour Taylor, a multi‑award‑winning accountancy and tax advisory firm, is seeking an experienced Client Director to join its senior leadership team in High Wycombe. This is a full‑time, permanent position offering the chance to shape the firm’s growth trajectory while managing an existing client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop an existing client portfolio, ensuring high service standards.
• Build new client relationships, generate new business and drive fee growth.
• Act as a trusted adviser, delivering technical excellence in client work.
• Collaborate closely with the Joint Managing Directors and wider leadership team.
• Mentor, support and develop junior team members.
• Contribute to the firm’s commercial objectives and overall growth strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Client Director, Associate Director or senior manager in accountancy, tax or related advisory services.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to develop new business opportunities.
• Leadership mindset with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders.
• Open‑minded about specialism – experience in general practice, accounts, tax, outsourcing or broader client advisory is valued.
