Client Services Officer – Private Banking

About the role

This position supports one to two Private Bankers in managing high‑net‑worth client portfolios for a prestigious private bank in central London. You will own the day‑to‑day administration of client accounts, ensuring seamless service through phone, email and face‑to‑face interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with high‑net‑worth clients through regular contact.
• Manage daily account activities, excess cash, reporting and administration.
• Process payments, fund transfers and foreign‑exchange requests accurately and on time.
• Support client onboarding, completing KYC, CDD and AML checks and maintaining records.
• Assist with internal credit applications and monitor existing borrowings.
• Collaborate with Credit Risk, Client Operations, Financial Crime and other teams.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc projects such as new product launches and complete mandatory training.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in private banking with client‑facing exposure to high‑net‑worth individuals.
• University degree or equivalent, preferably UK‑based.
• Strong relationship‑building ability and commitment to excellent client service.
• Good understanding of banking operations, KYC, AML and regulatory environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
