Client Solutions Engineer

About the role

FreeWheel, a Comcast company, provides ad platforms for publishers, advertisers and media buyers. It is looking for an experienced, hands-on Client Solutions Engineer based in London to act as a key technical expert in the execution of its most strategically important client implementations. The role sits within the Global Client Services organization, helping illuminate client usage to improve FreeWheel's offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and document business and technical solutions for client projects, and execute standard feature enablement and client onboarding
• Support complex implementations and clarify resolution paths for new or unclear use cases, working with Senior and Lead Solutions Engineers
• Provide timely technical support and problem resolution for escalated field service questions from the support team
• Act as the main liaison between the client, account team, engineering and product management, giving feedback on product usage and needs
• Advise Marketing, Product Marketing and Revenue Development on story, materials and product features
• Deliver primary technical expertise in high-priority pre-sales, and train internal teams and occasionally clients
• Share best practices, standardize proven solutions and support Client Services

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree; Comcast may also consider candidates with a mix of coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience
• Strong communication skills, able to explain how technology solves business problems to developers and executives alike
• Hands-on approach, self-motivated and able to work independently in a small company
• Creative problem solver; programmatic ad serving (DSP/SSP) experience is a plus

Required skills

• Solid web/mobile technology skills: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, ActionScript 3, Objective-C, XML, etc.
• Working knowledge of database structures and SQL
• Experience with video technologies and/or online advertising is a plus
