Clinical Negligence Solicitor – London

About the role

IPS Group is seeking a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its Tier 1 healthcare practice in London. You will work alongside leading practitioners handling defendant clinical negligence matters for a range of clients, including NHS Resolution and medical malpractice insurers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a mixed caseload of clinical negligence claims against GPs and consultants.
• Represent a major defence organisation and liaise with NHS Resolution and insurers.
• Provide client contact, support business development, and contribute to case strategy.
• Work under the supervision of a partner and collaborate closely with a tight‑knit legal team.

Required profile

• Litigation experience, preferably from a leading medical negligence firm (defendant or claimant).
• Exposure to multi‑track litigated work.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a close‑knit team.
• Genuine interest in healthcare law and a desire to develop a career in this sector.
