About the role

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join our Bristol team. The role involves handling high‑value, complex clinical negligence claims and supporting clients who have suffered life‑changing injuries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of high‑value clinical negligence claims from inception to resolution.
• Provide strategic advice and representation to clients throughout litigation.
• Mentor and supervise junior colleagues where required.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, experts and professional contacts.
• Contribute to business development and department growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years post‑qualification experience in clinical negligence litigation.
• Proven track record of handling complex, high‑value claims.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational abilities.
• Compassionate, client‑focused approach to sensitive cases.
• Proactive attitude towards business development.
