Clinical Negligence Solicitor – Remote (UK)

About the role

We are partnering with a respected regional law firm to recruit a Clinical Negligence Solicitor for its claimant team. The position offers a varied, high‑value caseload and a supportive, forward‑thinking environment, with a fully remote working model after an initial onboarding period in North Yorkshire.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clinical negligence claims, including catastrophic injuries, cerebral palsy, fatal accidents and high‑value medical claims.
• Review and analyse medical records, instruct medical experts and counsel, and take witness statements.
• Negotiate settlements and, where required, issue and progress court proceedings.
• Provide empathetic, professional client care throughout the case lifecycle.

Required profile

• Solid personal injury background with 1–5 years PQE, preferably in clinical negligence.
• Proactive, commercially aware approach with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
• Experience of delivering high standards of client care, especially for vulnerable individuals.
• Willingness to attend the North Yorkshire office for the first few months of onboarding.

• Expertise in handling clinical negligence and personal injury matters.
• Ability to interpret complex medical documentation.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
