Clinical Nurse Manager – Deputy Manager at Bridgewood Mews

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Exemplar Health Care as a Clinical Nurse Manager (Deputy Manager) at Bridgewood Mews care home in Tipton. You will work closely with the Home Manager to ensure the home runs effectively and efficiently while leading a team of nursing and care staff to maintain high standards of care.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of care and nursing colleagues to meet residents’ medical, physical, emotional and safeguarding needs.
• Provide strong leadership to maintain high standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee and manage all clinical elements and associated risks.
• Ensure compliance with the clinical governance framework, regulatory requirements and CQC standards.
• Supervise the Nursing Team to ensure care plans and risk assessments are completed, reviewed timely and reflect appropriate interventions.

Required profile

• First‑level nursing registration with a valid NMC PIN.
• Minimum three years post‑registration experience with management or supervisory experience, training or qualification.
• Thorough understanding of nursing care best practice.
• Excellent range of clinical and digital skills.
• Proactive, initiative‑taking attitude with strong communication skills.
