Clinical Rotational Pharmacist

About the role

This fixed‑term position offers an enthusiastic pharmacist the chance to join the Clinical Pharmacy team at Wexham Park Hospital. You will rotate through a range of specialties, gaining hands‑on experience in areas such as haematology, oncology, critical care, acute medicine, cardiology, paediatrics and surgery.

Key responsibilities

• Provide dispensary and clinical pharmacy services on Wexham Park Hospital and, when required, on other Trust sites.
• Participate in emergency duty, on‑call, bank‑holiday and weekend coverage while maintaining a healthy work‑life balance.
• Engage in training programmes covering anticoagulation, antimicrobial stewardship, medicines safety and palliative care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective patient‑centred medication management.

Required profile

• Registered pharmacist with a patient‑focused approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised, motivated and able to adapt quickly to new clinical environments.
• Willingness to travel between Trust sites and work flexible hours.
