About the role
This role is for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer working fully remotely for a Microsoft Gold Partner delivering enterprise‑scale Azure solutions to nuclear, defence and government clients in the UK.
Key responsibilities
- Build and manage secure Azure IaaS and PaaS environments.
- Design Azure Landing Zones for large‑scale deployments.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code using Bicep, ARM templates or Terraform.
- Create and improve CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub or Jenkins.
- Implement security best practices such as RBAC, IAM, Private Link and firewalls.
- Monitor, optimise and troubleshoot Azure environments.
Required profile
- 3+ years of experience in Azure infrastructure engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Azure services, networking and security.
- Hands‑on experience with Landing Zones and enterprise cloud frameworks.
- Proficiency in IaC and CI/CD (YAML) pipelines.
- Eligibility for UK SC clearance (current clearance is a plus).
