Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Remote, UK)

About the role

This role is for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer working fully remotely for a Microsoft Gold Partner delivering enterprise‑scale Azure solutions to nuclear, defence and government clients in the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage secure Azure IaaS and PaaS environments.
• Design Azure Landing Zones for large‑scale deployments.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Bicep, ARM templates or Terraform.
• Create and improve CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub or Jenkins.
• Implement security best practices such as RBAC, IAM, Private Link and firewalls.
• Monitor, optimise and troubleshoot Azure environments.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in Azure infrastructure engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services, networking and security.
• Hands‑on experience with Landing Zones and enterprise cloud frameworks.
• Proficiency in IaC and CI/CD (YAML) pipelines.
• Eligibility for UK SC clearance (current clearance is a plus).
