Cloud Software Engineer in Test

About the role

AVEVA is looking for a Cloud Software Engineer in Test to join its global Cloud DevOps (CDO) team. You will help improve the quality, security and reliability of AVEVA’s cloud‑enabled products by designing, automating and executing tests, and by driving continuous improvement of DevOps processes.

Key responsibilities

• Define, design and execute basic to moderately complex test cases and scenarios for cloud solutions.
• Develop, maintain and run test automation code, including load and performance test suites.
• Create test utilities and programs to support ongoing quality activities.
• Collaborate with CDO teams to ensure operational stability, security, cost management and reporting compliance.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis sessions and manage improvement actions.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and occasional out‑of‑hours work for the 24x7 service.
