CNC Machinist – 3‑Axis Siemens Milling – £15‑£20/hr

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a leading precision engineering company in Wickford, Essex. You will operate 3‑axis Siemens‑controlled milling machines to produce high‑quality components for a range of industries, working to tight tolerances and strict quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3‑axis Siemens CNC milling machines.
• Manufacture precision components to exact specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Select appropriate tooling and machining methods.
• Perform in‑process inspection using micrometers, vernier calipers and gauges.
• Make machine offsets and adjustments to maintain quality.
• Adhere to production schedules and quality standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a CNC Miller or CNC Machinist.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliability and motivation in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting.
