CNC Miller (Setter/Operator) – 5 Axis – £40k-£46k

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller (Setter/Operator) to join a long‑standing manufacturer of high‑end machined components for the aerospace, defence, oil and gas sectors. You will work on 5‑axis CNC milling machines, Monday to Friday, with an early finish on Fridays to support a healthy work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate 5‑axis CNC milling machines (Hass or Matsuura) using FANUC controls.
• Produce precision parts for aerospace and defence applications.
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety and efficiency on the shop floor.
• Participate in overtime when required, paid at 1.5× the standard rate.

Required profile

• Proven experience setting up and operating 5‑axis CNC milling equipment.
• Background in a milling environment, preferably within aerospace or defence.
• Ability to commute to Bristol, South West England.
