CNC Milling Machinist – 3 Axis (Heidenhain Preferred)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist to join a well‑established manufacturing team in Dartford. This full‑time, permanent position offers the chance to work with modern 3‑axis equipment and contribute to the production of precision components.

Key responsibilities

• Set‑up, operate and program 3‑axis CNC milling machines.
• Interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles to ensure accurate machining.
• Select and manage cutting tools appropriate for each job.
• Use a variety of measuring equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow company policies.

Required skills

• Experience with CNC milling (3‑axis).
• Familiarity with Heidenhain control (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerances (GD&T).
• Proficiency with measuring equipment and knowledge of cutting tools.
