CNC Service Engineer – Home-Based (North West England)

About the role

This is a home‑based, field‑service position covering a North West England patch. You will travel to customer sites within a two‑hour radius, servicing, maintaining and repairing high‑spec CNC machine tools.

Key responsibilities

• Perform service, breakdown response and preventive maintenance on CNC machinery.
• Diagnose faults, carry out precision alignments and rebuild machine components.
• Replace spindles, repair ball screws and conduct full machine rebuilds.
• Provide on‑site technical support to a varied customer base.

Required profile

• Proven experience working on CNC machine tools or similar equipment.
• Strong fault‑finding and maintenance abilities.
• Ability to work independently across a regional patch.
• Electrically biased background preferred, but mechanical experience is also considered.

What we offer

• Salary £50,000‑£55,000 per year plus vehicle/fuel card.

• 38‑hour week, Monday‑Friday.
