College Student Support Worker (SEN)

About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic College Student Support Workers to join a leading FE college in West London. You will work within the Inclusion department, providing one‑to‑one and small‑group assistance to SEN learners in English and Maths. This temporary role offers both part‑time and full‑time options starting in September.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver tailored support to SEN students, either individually or in small groups.
- Assist learners with college work, focusing on English and Maths.
- Maintain the college’s standards of work and contribute to a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate closely with the dedicated SEN team to ensure best possible education outcomes.
Required profile
- Right to work in the UK and ability to obtain an Enhanced DBS check.
- Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or Support Worker within SEN.
- English and Maths GCSE (or equivalent).
- Strong teamwork skills and knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
- Flexible approach to working hours and duties.
