Commercial Account Handler – Insurance Brokerage

About the role

We are partnering with a leading insurance brokerage to recruit an experienced Commercial Account Handler. The successful candidate will manage an established portfolio of commercial clients, support new‑business opportunities and work closely with senior colleagues to drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and service a diverse book of commercial and related private clients.
• Assist with new‑business broking and re‑broking initiatives.
• Maintain existing accounts, providing technical advice and handling client queries and amendments.
• Offer guidance and technical support to junior team members.
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients and a referral resource for less experienced colleagues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial insurance underwriting or account handling.
• Motivation to progress towards an ACII qualification (supported but not mandatory).
• Strong teamwork orientation and ability to collaborate effectively.
