Commercial Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Account Manager to join a thriving commercial insurance team in London. You will own a portfolio of commercial clients, delivering end‑to‑end service across renewals, new business and mid‑term adjustments while building long‑term relationships with both clients and insurers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of commercial insurance clients, handling renewals, new business enquiries and day‑to‑day servicing.
• Negotiate with insurers to secure optimal terms and develop cross‑selling opportunities.
• Lead the full renewal process, prepare market presentations and produce accurate client documentation.
• Provide technical support to colleagues on complex commercial risks and policy wordings.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and senior management to maintain high service standards and client retention.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial insurance account management.
• Strong client‑relationship skills with a focus on retention and growth.
• Ability to negotiate effectively with insurers and present market solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaborative mindset.
• No formal line‑management responsibilities required.
