Commercial & Agricultural Property Solicitor (3+ PQE)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join a well‑established Cumbria law firm’s Agricultural and Property team. This permanent, full‑time position offers a strategic role with high‑quality work, specialist development and clear succession opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Handle agricultural land sales and acquisitions
• Manage rural and farming‑related property matters
• Conduct commercial property transactions
• Act for landowners, farmers and rural businesses
• Maintain an autonomous caseload with a high degree of independence

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
• 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience (3+ PQE)
• Experience in commercial property and/or agricultural property law
• Confidence to manage matters independently
• Commitment to become a long‑term member of a close‑knit team (newly qualified solicitors will not be considered)
