Commercial Contracts Solicitor – Funds (Interim)

About the role

Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking an interim Senior Commercial Contracts Solicitor to support a major asset‑management client. The role focuses on drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial and funds‑related agreements while offering the chance to deepen expertise in the investment‑funds sector.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including Fundraising, Distribution, Platform, Fund Link, Service & Supplier, Commercial Partnership and other asset‑management contracts.
• Advise internal and client stakeholders on contractual, legal and commercial risk.
• Manage day‑to‑day commercial legal matters and coordinate negotiations with counterparties and external advisers.
• Provide pragmatic, solutions‑focused legal advice in a fully remote environment.
• Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to deliver high‑quality legal outcomes.

Required profile

• Senior Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong background in commercial contracts, with demonstrable experience drafting and negotiating complex agreements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and deliver commercially‑focused solutions.
