Commercial Finance Director

About the role

VPZ is looking for a Commercial Finance Director to drive the next stage of growth across its fast‑growing UK retail, manufacturing and online business. You will shape strategy, improve performance and create value by understanding how the business makes money and where margins are generated or lost.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse revenue streams, margin drivers and cash flow across retail, manufacturing, online, product, supply‑chain and operations.
• Develop a faster, sharper finance function that supports better decision‑making throughout the organisation.
• Act as a strategic partner to the owners and senior leadership team, providing insight and guidance on commercial performance.
• Maintain a hands‑on approach to finance, ensuring accurate reporting and proactive management of stock and cash.
• Work on‑site five days a week at the Head Office in Newbridge, Edinburgh.
