Commercial Finance Manager – Birmingham

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to join a global business in Birmingham. You will work in a dynamic commercial environment, providing strategic financial insight and partnering with senior leaders to drive performance and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial oversight, delivering insight‑led reporting and analysis to support operational performance, profitability and growth objectives.
• Act as a trusted finance partner to senior stakeholders, translating financial data into clear recommendations for business decisions.
• Lead the development of budgets, forecasts and financial outlooks, challenging assumptions and identifying emerging risks.
• Support strategic initiatives and commercial opportunities by assessing financial implications, evaluating business cases and guiding improvements.
• Lead, mentor and develop members of the finance team.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with a proven track record in a commercial finance role.
• Demonstrated experience in business partnering and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Strong ability to work with large data sets and deliver accurate analysis.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
