Commercial Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to join a growing SME in Bristol. The role is hybrid and offers a salary of around £75,000. Reporting directly to the Directors, you will own the day‑to‑day finance function while partnering with sales, operations and project teams to drive commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily finance activities for the business, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.
• Act as a trusted finance business partner to Sales, Operations and Project teams.
• Support pricing strategies, margin analysis and develop financial models for bids, tenders and contracts.
• Provide insight into product and project profitability and challenge commercial decisions to improve outcomes.
• Partner with senior leadership on strategic decision‑making and financial performance monitoring.

Required profile

• Qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA (desirable).
• Strong commercial mindset with experience in an SME environment.
• Ability to work hands‑on with detailed financial data and communicate insights.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
