Commercial Insurance Broker – Haulage Clients

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Commercial Insurance Broker to manage and grow a portfolio of haulage clients. The role offers flexibility to work remotely, on a hybrid basis, or from our prestigious office in The Gherkin, London.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand a book of commercial insurance accounts within the haulage sector.
• Handle inbound leads and enquiries, providing tailored advice throughout the client journey.
• Negotiate with insurers to secure competitive terms and coverage.
• Manage policy renewals and identify opportunities for upselling and cross‑selling.
• Deliver a high‑quality client experience at every touchpoint.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial insurance broking with a focus on haulage or motor fleet risks.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and driven to grow a specialised portfolio.
• Relevant insurance qualifications (e.g., CII) are advantageous but not essential.

Required skills

• Knowledge of haulage and motor fleet insurance products.
• Understanding of commercial risk assessment.
