Commercial Lawyer – Consultant (Hybrid/Remote)

About the role

Richard Nelson LLP is seeking experienced commercial solicitors to join its national consultancy model as self‑employed consultants. The role offers flexibility to work remotely or from office while managing a personal caseload and building client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Provide commercial legal advice and representation to businesses and professionals.
• Manage cases from inception to resolution, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations.
• Develop and maintain a personal client portfolio, targeting a minimum billing of £100,000 per annum.
• Collaborate with the firm’s compliance, admin, and accounts teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• Senior solicitor with post‑qualification experience in commercial law.
• Proven ability to manage a high‑value caseload independently.
• Strong client following or the capacity to generate new business.
