Commercial Legal Counsel – In‑House Role (Hybrid)

About the role

Tiro Partners Limited is seeking an experienced Commercial Legal Counsel to become its first in‑house lawyer. Working directly with the executive leadership team, you will shape the legal function while supporting high‑growth energy, infrastructure and data‑centre projects.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate and manage commercial contracts, customer and supplier agreements, MSAs, SLAs and NDAs.
• Provide legal support for energy, data‑centre and infrastructure initiatives.
• Advise on property transactions, leases and commercial agreements related to infrastructure development.
• Support fundraising, corporate governance, shareholder matters and board activities.
• Manage legal risk across the business and coordinate with external advisers when needed.
• Help establish and develop the company’s in‑house legal function.

Required profile

• England & Wales qualified solicitor with 6–10 years post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience as a Commercial Legal Counsel, Legal Counsel or Commercial Lawyer.
• Strong background in negotiating and drafting commercial contracts.
• Experience in‑house or a mix of private practice and in‑house work.
• Commercially minded, able to work independently and support senior stakeholders.
• Experience in energy, renewables, data‑centres, infrastructure, construction or large‑scale real estate is highly advantageous.
