Commercial Litigation Legal Executive

About the role

The Commercial Litigation Legal Executive will join a dynamic legal team in London, providing high‑profile advice and representation to government departments. You will work closely with ministers, senior officials and other legal professionals on a varied caseload.

Key responsibilities

• Advise government departments on commercial litigation matters and provide strategic guidance.
• Prepare and manage case files, draft legal documents and represent clients in court.
• Collaborate with cross‑departmental teams, including advisory, employment and commercial law specialists.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of relevant legislation, EU law and regulatory changes.
• Ensure compliance with security requirements, including DV clearance where required.

Required profile

• A qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive.
• Strong analytical judgement and the ability to deliver balanced, risk‑based advice.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex legal issues clearly.
• Open‑minded, impartial and able to work collaboratively under pressure.
