Commercial Litigation Solicitor – Brighton (Hybrid)

About the role

We are a leading national law firm with a strong presence in Brighton, seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate (3+ PQE) to join our dispute resolution team. The role involves handling high‑value, complex commercial disputes, including contract, shareholder and professional negligence matters, within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and advise on high‑value commercial disputes across various sectors.
• Draft pleadings, statements of case and other court documents.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic advisory on cross‑border and urgent applications.
• Engage with clients to develop commercial solutions and support business development.
• Collaborate with senior partners on complex litigation strategy and case management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years post‑qualification experience in commercial litigation or dispute resolution.
• Strong drafting and analytical abilities.
• Client‑focused, commercial mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
• Experience with cross‑border disputes and strategic advisory work is desirable.
