Commercial Manager

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead a portfolio of key client relationships in Winsford, Cheshire. This senior leadership position focuses on driving commercial performance, maximising contract value and ensuring high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of customer‑facing account professionals.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key clients, acting as senior point of contact for complex matters.
• Drive customer retention, contract renewals and profitable growth across an established portfolio.
• Identify opportunities to expand services, secure additional projects and increase revenue.
• Manage commercial reviews, pricing discussions and contractual changes.
• Develop and implement account growth plans and service‑enhancement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance and Business Development to meet contractual commitments and service standards.
• Support mobilisation and onboarding of new contracts, ensuring seamless transition.
• Produce regular reports on performance, commercial activity and improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or similar client‑facing leadership role.
• Strong background managing client contracts in a service‑driven, outsourced or multi‑site environment.
• Demonstrated success delivering customer retention, revenue growth and contract profitability.
• Excellent relationship‑building, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
