Ecommerce Assistant (4 Positions Available)

About the role

The British Red Cross is recruiting four Ecommerce Assistants in Winsford, Cheshire, to help drive online sales that support its humanitarian work. You will photograph and list donated items for sale on online marketplaces such as eBay and Depop, and work closely with shop teams. The role is on-site, 21 hours per week, flexible between Monday and Friday, 8am to 6pm, and is also available as a job share.

Key responsibilities

• Photograph and list donated items for sale on platforms such as eBay and Depop.
• Check AI-generated item titles and descriptions for accuracy and compliance with brand guidelines.
• Handle stock and keep the workspace tidy, safe and efficient.
• Answer customer queries and support shop teams with feedback.

Required profile

• Knowledge of online marketplaces and confidence using IT systems.
• Experience in customer service or a sales-driven environment.
• Proactive approach and ability to work quickly to set standards.

Required skills

• Strong attention to detail.
• Good written communication skills.
