Commercial Procurement Internship – 12.5 months

About the role

This 12.5‑month Commercial Procurement placement gives you the chance to work at the heart of Airbus' global supply chain, supporting the sourcing of critical aircraft components. You will develop supplier‑management, negotiation and contract‑management skills while collaborating with engineering, production, quality and legal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end procurement for critical aircraft components across all Airbus programmes.
• Manage and negotiate complex supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and company policies.
• Collaborate with Multi‑Functional Teams (engineering, production, quality, legal) to align procurement strategies with project goals.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Undergraduate student (must remain enrolled for the full placement) studying Business Management, Supply Chain, Economics, Maths, Law, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Motivation to work in a collaborative team environment and drive future innovation.
• Self‑awareness and a proactive attitude towards personal development.
