Commercial Property Lawyer

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑focused Commercial Property Lawyer to join our dynamic property team in Canary Wharf. Reporting to the Senior Solicitor, you will provide pragmatic legal advice on acquisitions, disposals, leasing, development projects and commercial contracts across a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential and hotel assets.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on commercial property acquisitions, disposals and development projects.
• Draft, negotiate and manage commercial leases and landlord‑tenant matters.
• Handle real‑estate disputes and related litigation.
• Negotiate and draft a range of commercial and supplier contracts.
• Provide day‑to‑day legal support to the business on various commercial matters.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience in commercial real estate.
• Strong background in commercial property transactions and landlord‑tenant work.
• Proven ability to manage disputes and negotiate complex contracts.
• Commercially minded with excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise workload in a fast‑paced environment.
