Commercial Property Solicitor (1+ PQE)

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor with at least 1 year of post‑qualification experience (PQE) to join an ambitious firm in Colchester. The role offers flexible working, autonomy and strong support for professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Advice on commercial leases for both landlords and tenants.
• Handling commercial acquisitions, disposals and property finance transactions.
• Working with developers on acquisition of development land and plot sales.
• Managing large‑scale projects for key clients across the commercial portfolio.
• Collaborating with multiple commercial departments to provide diverse legal solutions.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 1 + PQE in commercial property.
• Demonstrated experience across a variety of commercial property matters.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Required skills

• Commercial lease drafting and negotiation.
• Acquisition and disposal structuring.
• Property finance knowledge.
• Experience working with developers on land transactions.
