Commercial Property Solicitor (5+ PQE)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor (5+ years PQE) to join a leading Legal 500 firm in Luton. The role offers autonomy, high‑quality work and the chance to contribute to the growth of a well‑established commercial property team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied commercial property caseload, including freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals.
• Handle landlord and tenant matters and negotiate commercial leases.
• Oversee development site acquisitions, property finance, refinancing and bridging finance.
• Draft licences to assign, deeds of variation, overage agreements and other complex property documentation.
• Provide occasional corporate support on commercial transactions.

Required profile

• 5+ years post‑qualification experience in commercial property law.
• Proven ability to manage a broad property caseload and build strong client relationships.
• Strong commercial awareness and proactive business development mindset.
• Desire to progress within a supportive Legal 500 team.

Required skills

• Legal drafting and negotiation.
• Commercial property law expertise.
• Experience with property finance and development work (desirable).
