Commercial Property Solicitor (Full‑time, Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor to join our client’s practice in Devizes. The role is full‑time with a hybrid working model and offers the chance to manage a varied portfolio of landlord‑tenant, acquisition, disposal and development matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all client work allocated by the Team Lead in line with the firm’s Office Manual and Lexcel standards.
• Progress matters efficiently, keep clients informed of status and costs, and maintain high standards of client care.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of documentation and comply with Solicitors’ Accounts Rules and the SRA Code of Conduct.
• Take responsibility for billing, time recording and credit control on own matters.
• Supervise and support junior staff as directed by the Head of Department.
• Participate in client development and local marketing activities.

Required profile

• 1‑5 years post‑qualification experience in commercial property, covering landlord‑tenant, acquisitions, disposals and development work.
• Proven ability to manage workload in a pressured environment and liaise with agents and other professionals.
• Strong organisational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to high‑quality client service and continuous professional development.

Required skills

• Experience using a Case Management System.
• Solid ICT proficiency.
