Commercial Property Solicitor – £80k-£90k – North London

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join an established in‑house legal team in North London. The role offers a stable, non‑fee‑earning environment where you will support the company’s extensive commercial property portfolio and work closely with senior legal colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pragmatic, commercially focused advice on landlord‑side matters across a large property portfolio.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial leases for retail units, offices, industrial estates and warehouses.
• Support lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 (non‑contentious).
• Conduct title investigations and respond to land registry queries.
• Deliver autonomous legal support to the commercial property management team.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop practical legal solutions.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with at least 7 years post‑qualification experience.
• Training at a reputable City, national or regional commercial property practice or in‑house team.
• Demonstrated experience in commercial landlord and tenant work covering retail, office, and industrial properties.
• Ability to work independently and act as a trusted adviser to the business.
• Comfortable advising on lease renewals under the 1954 Act and handling land and title issues.
