Commercial Solicitor (1-2 years PQE) – Full‑time

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded solicitor with 1‑2 years post‑qualification experience to join a respected, traditional firm in Haywards Heath. Working closely with a senior lawyer, you will gain exposure to a broad range of commercial matters, from property and corporate work to litigation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist a senior solicitor on a one‑to‑one basis across commercial property, company law and commercial litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research, draft documents and manage case files.
• Liaise with clients and third parties to gather information and provide updates.
• Support the preparation of court bundles and attend hearings as required.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 1‑2 years PQE.
• Commercially focused with interest in a varied practice.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Commitment to working full‑time in an office‑based environment.

Required skills

• Legal research and drafting.
• Knowledge of commercial property, corporate and litigation law.
