Commercial Solicitor Consultant (Self‑Employed)

About the role

Richard Nelson LLP is seeking experienced commercial solicitors to join its national consultancy model as self‑employed consultants. The role offers full flexibility to work remotely or from office while building your own client base and earning a fee split of 70‑85% of revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality commercial legal advice to professional and business clients.
• Manage a personal caseload independently, meeting billing targets of at least £100,000 per annum.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, generating new business opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and maintain professional indemnity insurance.
• Collaborate with the firm’s compliance, admin, and accounts teams.

Required profile

• Senior solicitor with post‑qualification experience in commercial law.
• Proven ability to manage cases autonomously and meet revenue goals.
• Existing client following preferred.
• Commitment to the firm’s values of integrity, expertise, and tenacity.
