Commis Waiter – Seasonal

About the role

The Commis Waiter will support the front‑of‑house team at Raffles London’s signature restaurant, working closely with chefs, baristas and hosts to ensure smooth service during the season.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior wait staff with food pick‑up, table service and clearing tables.
• Maintain polished glassware, crockery and a tidy back‑of‑house area.
• Deliver dishes to guests promptly, providing accurate dish explanations.
• Support barista and host duties when required, including refilling drinks and setting tables.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Communicate guest feedback to restaurant staff.
• Assist with sustainable waste‑management practices.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn in a high‑end hospitality environment.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods.
• Strong attention to detail for table setting and cleanliness.
• Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members.
