Communications Manager

About the role

The Communications Manager will lead the development and delivery of strategic communications for The Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment, enhancing its reputation with internal and external audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Raise awareness and reputation of The Bartlett and its academic departments.
• Design and execute an engaging communications schedule across website, social media, email and print channels.
• Create and manage creative campaigns, publications and public‑event communications.
• Maintain and optimise website content using the Drupal content management system.
• Analyse communications data and analytics to evaluate performance and drive improvements.
• Build and sustain effective relationships with stakeholders at all organisational levels.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering integrated communications across digital and print media for diverse audiences.
• Excellent written communication skills, able to tailor content for different platforms and stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder‑management abilities and collaborative working style.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently, using sound judgement and initiative.
