Communications & PR Coordinator

About the role
We are seeking a Communications & PR Coordinator to join a leading international architecture and design studio in London. Working closely with senior leadership, partners and creative teams, you will help shape and deliver the studio’s global communications strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute an integrated PR and communications plan aligned with business goals and brand positioning.
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, influencers and key stakeholders.
- Draft press releases, media statements, speeches, Q&As and other PR materials.
- Prepare spokespeople for announcements, interviews and public events.
- Design and launch creative PR campaigns and events to raise brand awareness and thought leadership.
- Monitor media coverage and public sentiment, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Support issues management and rapid‑response communications.
- Collaborate with in‑house creatives to ensure consistent branding across all channels.
- Manage the studio’s social media presence, internal communications, newsletter and awards submissions.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in communications, public relations or a similar role.
- Proven track record of delivering multi‑channel campaigns (print, broadcast, online, social).
- Experience handling high‑profile announcements and sensitive issues.
- Strong storytelling ability and excellent written and verbal communication.
- Degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing or related field is advantageous.
- Passion for architecture, design and urban environments.
Required skills
- Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator.
- Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Social media scheduling and analytics tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, HubSpot, Google Analytics.
- Familiarity with CRM or digital asset management systems.
What we offer
- Competitive salary of £38,000–£48,000 per year, dependent on experience.
