Community Health Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a highly organised, customer‑focused Administrator to join the Bath & North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire (BSW) Community Health Single Point of Access (SPA) team. Based at our Trowbridge office, you will provide essential back‑office support to clinicians, managers and partner organisations, ensuring a smooth, patient‑centred service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to clinicians, managers and the wider Community Health SPA team.
• Maintain accurate patient and service‑user information in electronic systems, including record creation, updates, scanning, and correspondence.
• Coordinate and schedule clinical appointments, ensuring timely booking and communication of any changes.
• Act as the first point of contact for enquiries, delivering a professional and responsive service to patients, healthcare professionals and partner organisations.
• Support data quality and reporting requirements across the SPA service.

• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential patient information in accordance with data protection standards.
• Proactive, customer‑focused attitude with a team‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic patient record systems.
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
