Community Staff Nurse – Older Peoples (Part‑time)

About the role

This permanent part‑time position joins the District Nursing Team to provide high‑quality, person‑centred care for older people in the community. You will work autonomously, delivering culturally sensitive nursing interventions across a large geographical area.

Key responsibilities

• Support the District Nurse by delivering skilled nursing interventions and assessing patient needs.
• Collaborate with patients, carers, and multidisciplinary partners to coordinate safe and effective care.
• Manage delegated activities and supervise other members of the District Nursing Team.
• Maintain clinical standards in line with national and local policies.
• Promote independence, wellbeing, and person‑centred outcomes for service users.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a current NMC registration.
• Full UK driving licence (essential for the role).
• Ability to work independently as an autonomous practitioner.
• Strong clinical assessment, decision‑making, communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to collaborative, multidisciplinary working and ongoing professional development.
