Community Staff Nurse - Treatment Room and Vaccination

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Treatment Room and Vaccination Service in East Renfrewshire. This full‑time, permanent position offers the chance to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care within the community, supporting patients to maintain their health and independence.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing interventions and treatments in treatment‑room clinics and community settings.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised care programmes in partnership with patients and carers.
• Support vaccination programmes, including care for housebound patients.
• Maintain accurate, contemporaneous clinical records in line with professional standards.
• Collaborate with primary care, community services and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Supervise and support junior staff, students and new team members.
• Participate in quality improvement, clinical audit, risk management and service development initiatives.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a current NMC First Level Registration (live NMC UK pin required).
• Relevant post‑registration experience with evidence of ongoing professional development and revalidation.
• Excellent clinical assessment abilities and the capacity to deliver safe, patient‑centred care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective relationships with patients, carers and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team.
