Community Support Worker – Weekend (Children & Adults)

About the role

We are looking for compassionate Community Support Workers to provide weekend care for children and adults in Stockport. The role involves supporting emotional and physical wellbeing in clients’ homes and during community outings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personalised care according to individual care plans, including personal care and community activities.
• Travel to clients’ homes and accompany them to local venues, ensuring safety and timely support.
• Monitor and report any changes in condition to relevant professionals.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment and adhere to safeguarding protocols at all times.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months care‑related experience in the UK.
• Up‑to‑date DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Awareness of safeguarding procedures for vulnerable children and adults.
• Ability to keep accurate written logs and observations.
