Compliance Officer – Temporary (3 months)

About the role

We are looking for a Compliance Officer to join a social housing provider on a three‑month temporary contract. You will work within the Compliance Team, ensuring asset and property data is accurate, up‑to‑date and supports business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Compliance Lead in developing and maintaining a compliance data strategy.
• Own the smoke and CO alarm register and ensure timely updates.
• Run daily system checks, conduct weekly audits and manage purchase orders.
• Maintain asset registers and ensure changes are communicated to relevant stakeholders.
• Assist with system improvements, dashboard creation and produce weekly/month‑end KPI reports for senior leadership.
• Train colleagues and improve data quality across the team.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to turn raw data into clear insight.
• Confidence working with complex datasets, including retrieval, cleaning and presentation.
• Advanced Excel proficiency (formulas, look‑ups, pivot tables).
• Understanding of KPIs and accurate performance reporting.
• Experience managing records and maintaining reliable documentation.
• Recognised ICT systems/solutions training qualification.
• Experience in a social housing or property‑based environment.

What we offer
