Compressor Service Engineer (Local Patch)

About the role

We are seeking a Compressor Service Engineer to cover a local patch in Watford, serving customers across London and Hertfordshire. The role offers a clear progression path towards managerial positions within two years and includes full manufacturer training on specialist compressor units.

Key responsibilities

• Service, install and maintain air compressor systems for a range of industrial clients.
• Travel daily within the assigned local area, returning home each night.
• Provide emergency call‑outs and support as required, with optional overtime.
• Maintain accurate service records and report any issues to the engineering team.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a field service engineer working with air compressors.
• Ability to work independently across a defined geographic patch.
• Willingness to undertake manufacturer‑provided training.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to use a company van.
