Computer Vision Manager – Lead SLAM & Sensor Fusion Team

About the role

We are looking for a Computer Vision Manager to lead the development of advanced SLAM, perception and sensor‑fusion capabilities for real‑world navigation and mapping products. The role sits at the intersection of computer vision, geospatial data, embedded systems and engineering delivery, managing a small‑to‑medium team across algorithm development, production software, integration and testing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of software engineers, conduct 1:1s and performance reviews, and foster an inclusive high‑performing culture.
• Provide technical direction on software design, architecture and implementation, ensuring coding standards, version control and DevOps best practices.
• Drive end‑to‑end delivery of complex software projects using agile methods, plan sprints, allocate resources and manage risks.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience leading or technically managing software or algorithm teams.
• Strong background in computer vision, SLAM, robotics, mapping, perception or sensor‑fusion systems.
• Experience delivering production‑quality engineering software with solid understanding of architecture, testing and CI/CD.

Required skills

• Programming in C++, C# and Python.
• Linux, Docker, CUDA and GPU acceleration.
• LiDAR and camera data processing.
• IMU/GNSS‑aided sensor fusion.
• Knowledge of navigation, localisation and mapping.
• Familiarity with React or web‑based visualisation tools.
