Construction Lecturer (Further Education)

About the role
We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Construction Lecturers to deliver high‑quality teaching for Further Education providers in Central London. You will help learners develop technical knowledge, practical construction skills, and a solid understanding of industry standards.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Construction and Built Environment lessons across a range of levels.
- Assess, monitor and record student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate teaching records in line with college requirements.
- Create an inclusive, safety‑compliant learning environment.
- Support learners in developing practical skills and industry‑relevant knowledge.
- Contribute to student achievement, retention and progression.
Required profile
- Relevant degree or qualification in Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Services, Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training or equivalent).
- Experience teaching Construction in Further Education, Higher Education, Secondary Education or adult learning.
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
